In Woerden, we carried out a complete renovation of a flat roof. The existing roof was outdated and in need of a thorough renewal to ensure optimal performance for many years to come. During this project, the entire roof structure was renewed, from the roof decking to the new bitumen roofing. This created a solid and durable foundation for the new roof structure. Subsequently, the roof was fitted with 80 mm PIR insulation. This insulation layer ensures excellent thermal performance, allowing heat to be retained better and energy consumption to be reduced. In addition to extra comfort, this solution also contributes to a longer lifespan of the entire roof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n New bitumen roofing installed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n After the insulation was installed, the flat roof was finished with high-quality bitumen roofing, consisting of an underlay and a wear-resistant top layer. This roof construction offers excellent protection against rain, frost, and other weather influences. The photos show that the roof has a sleek finish, with neat seams and an even distribution of the roofing sheets. This creates a durable and completely watertight structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Roof domes and rainwater drainage renewed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n During the renovation, the roof domes were also replaced to ensure sufficient daylight once again enters the space below. In addition, the rainwater drains were renewed to efficiently drain rainwater.
