The existing roof was in poor condition and no longer met current requirements regarding insulation and watertightness. The client wanted a sustainable roof with a long lifespan, better insulation, and reliable protection against all weather conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a thorough inspection, we have completely renewed the roof. The roof was rebuilt using high-quality materials, ensuring the home is protected against moisture, cold, and heat for many years to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Work performed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Complete renovation of the flat roof<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The entire roof has been removed and rebuilt according to the latest standards. As a result, the roof once again meets current requirements regarding sustainability, safety, and insulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Replacing the roof boarding<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The existing roof decking has been completely replaced by a new, sturdy structure. As a result, the roof once again has a strong and stable base upon which the new roof structure has been installed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Installing 80 mm PIR roof insulation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To improve living comfort and limit energy loss, high-quality 80 mm thick PIR insulation was chosen. This insulation has an excellent insulation value and ensures lower energy costs throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Installing new bitumen roofing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After insulation, a new bitumen roof covering was installed, consisting of a strong underlay and a durable mineralized top layer. As a result, the roof is completely watertight and highly resistant to all weather conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Renewal of the roof domes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The old skylights have been replaced with new ones. As a result, more daylight enters the home and the roof immediately has a well-maintained appearance again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New rainwater drains installed<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New rainwater drains have been installed to drain rainwater quickly and efficiently. This significantly reduces the risk of water accumulation and future leaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The final result<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upon completion of the work, the home in Woerden features a completely renovated flat roof that is ready for the future.
